In a report released by the NPD Group, within the past year Samsung is no longer able to maintain its position to be number one in the world. Yet in the same report in the fourth quarter of 2012, Samsung still dominates the smart phone market share in almost all countries in the world.

In the period of the last year, Samsung and Apple is still the favorite choice of the number of smartphone users migrating from other smart phones pembesut companies like Motorola, LG, HTC, and other BlackBery.
As proclaimed Phone Arena, Friday (17/01/2014), in the fourth quarter of 2013, 42% of smartphone users in the United States choose products iPhone while 26% are using handsets made by Samsung.
In the same period a year ago, 35% of mobile phone users choose the iPhone product and the other 22% are loyal users of the products made by Samsung.
