Coolpix S9700, Pocket Camera With Long Zoom Lens | Continuing the previous series, Coolpix S9500, Nikon Coolpix S9700 pocket camera introduced with 30x optical zoom lens. To support the performance, the Coolpix S9700 is supported with a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor and 5-axis Hybrid VR (Vibration Reduction) to reduce shake when shooting from a distance. Hybrid VR also allows users to generate images and videos are more detailed and blur-free.

The camera is also equipped with a Wi-Fi connection that can be used to transfer photos and videos wirelessly to mobile devices as well as GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) to indicate the location of the captured image.

Not only that, the same as the Panasonic Lumix TZ60 rivals namely, the Coolpix S9700 also provides a manual mode and auto controls that offer a deeper experience when shooting.

Besides Coolpix S9700, Nikon Coolpix S9600 also launched with 22x optical zoom lens and also paired with a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor. Both will be available in the market at the end of this month in a choice of black, red, and white.

Pocket-Lint quoting page on Monday (02/10/2014), the Coolpix S9700 is priced at 330 pounds, or about USD 6.5 million, while the Coolpix S9600 for 250 pounds, or approximately USD 5 million.
