Regardless of the negative responses that appear on Google Glass, a good news emerged from law enforcement agencies in the United States. New York Police mentioned are testing the smart glasses to be used in activities of daily patrol members.
Institution known as the New York Police Department (NYPD) is reported to have bought two pairs of Google Glass. Devices with Augmented Reality (AR) which is mounted on the head it will be integrated to field duty members of the NYPD.
"As part of the interest in the field of technological advancement, the NYPD regularly conducts reviews of various equipment, tools, programs and other consumer products for applications or utilities in the police," said Stephen Davis, Deputy Commissioner of the NYPD.

NYPD members will try to optimize the Google Glass when running errands. They will be able to take pictures and record video when it's smart to wear glasses.
