Not only Indonesia, Southeast Asia as a whole become potential sites for LinkedIn. In the year 2013 yesterday, increasing the number of LinkedIn users earn as much as 50 percent across Southeast Asia. Together with the Philippines, Indonesia is also a country in Southeast Asia that have as many as 2 million users.
Meanwhile in Asia Pacific, there are a total of 50 million registered LinkedIn users. Among Asian countries, India became a leader with the number of users as many as 24 million people, followed by Australia (5 million) and China (2 million).
Managing Director of LinkedIn Asia Pacific, Hari Krishnan said that the potential of Asia, mainly because of labor in developing countries. Asia was considered to have an important role in the global economy. Krishnan noted that there are currently 30 million Asian students who are members of LinkedIn.
An increasing number of young users thanks to the launch of the University Page last year. With the current positive trend, Krishnan hopes that these developments continue next year.
