I chose to work here because I believe Microsoft is the best company in the world," wrote Nadella as reported by the pages of The Verge, Wednesday (05/02/2014).
In addition, Nadella also commented on the resignation of the founder, Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft's position. "I've asked Bill to devote more time to the company, as well as a focus on technology and products. I also look to the future to work with John Thompson as Chairman of the Board of Directors," Nadella said.
Own Nadella joined Microsoft in 1992. In Microsoft quickly climbed the career he became head of the company as Senior Vice President of Research & Development for the Online Services Division.
In that division, Nadella led the team that worked for the Bing search engine. Later in 2011, he was promoted to run the business server and tools unit, which is still the company he wrestled. The unit is now the backbone of Microsoft's business in cloud computing segment.
Currently, he also heads the team responsible for developing the project Cloud OS, which encompass all the Microsoft Cloud services.
