The deal includes a patent portfolio currently owned by both companies as well as any new patents that have received one of the company over the next ten years.
Claimed the deal the two companies as a deal that will lead to the deepest collaboration in research and development of current projects and future.
"With this agreement, the company can reduce the potential charges could focus on patents and innovation," said Allen Lo, Deputy General Patent Google in a statement.
Samsung concurred. Seungho Ahn, Head of Intellectual Property Rights of Samsung, said the agreement shows the potential of the industry is still open for collaboration rather than run out of energy involved in a patent dispute that is not necessary.
Previously, patent disputes between companies technology world adorn three continents, for example Apple against Google fierce.
